Your first look at Gen 10 starter Pokémon Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua

The first Gen 10 Pokémon have been revealed alongside the announcement of new mainline entries Pokémon Winds and Waves, which are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.

As expected, these are three grass-, water, and fire-type starters, which players will choose "before setting off on their journey" in the game, according to press release by The Pokémon Company.

Their stats are as follows:

Browt

Category: Bean Chick Pokémon
Type: Grass
Height: 1′ (0.3 m)
Weight: 7.7 lbs. (3.5 kg)
Ability: Overgrow

Pombon

Category: Puppy Pokémon
Type: Fire
Height: 1′4″ (0.4 m)
Weight: 14.8 lbs. (6.7 kg)
Ability: Blaze

Also revealed are two "special Pikachu" named Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu. I assume these are characters and not new forms, but either way, "we'll have to wait a bit longer to learn how [they] will be involved in the adventure.
