Arguably the biggest weekend in Pokémon Go has been dated for 2026.

Pokémon Go Fest Global 2026 will be taking place on July 11th and 12th. This is a little later in the summer than last year's dates - which were in June - timing things closer to the game's 10th anniversary date of July 6th.

Two Pokémon confirmed to be showing up at Go Fest this year are Mewtwo and Gen 7 mythical Zeraora.

Zeraora will be part of a Special Research task for ticketed players, according to an official comparison graphic for the in-person legs, while Mewtwo will almost certainly debut its Mega Mewtwo forms, if the Mega Evolution symbol behind Mewtwo on the official merch is anything to go by:

Meanwhile, for those planning to attend the in-person Go Fest dates in Tokyo, Chicago and Copenhagen, tickets are now on sale. The City Explorer ticket - which extends gameplay throughout the city around the event dates - returns, alongside add-ons for Eggs and Raid bonuses.

Also returning is the Premier Access ticket, where for $100 USD (in Chicago) or 640.00 kr. (in Copenhagen), you get a suite of in-game items, an exclusive collective item to pick up, speedy access to the Pokémon Center merch area, and lounge area with lockers, seating and "upgraded restrooms".
