Pokémon Go will receive free Unown Timed Research codes in the build up to 'Go Tour: Kalos Global' this weekend.

Similar to social media promotions for previous Global events - such as the Incarnate Forme encounters and Crowned Sword and Shield Energy research last year - Niantic will be releasing these codes once official Pokémon Go accounts get a certain number of extra followers.

On the face of it, this campaign hinges on new people subscribing before codes are released, but going by previous years, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion, and codes should be dolled out at a pace of around one code a day until the weekend.

We'll be updating this guide with all free Unown Timed Research codes as they go live.

Update (February 25th): The final two codes have already been released, with all free giveaways listed below.

Free Unown Go Tour Timed Research codes so far

The Unown Timed Research codes released so far are as follows:

Additional codes for Unown Y, then Z and A encounters will arrive before the weekend.

How to complete the Unown Timed Research

Each code will grant Timed Research leading to an Unown encounter unlocked by completing any Field Research task.

Remember, Unown can be shiny, so there's a (small) chance each of these encounters will be too. Here's a look at Unown X, Y, Z, and A in shiny form:
