Pokémon Pokopia's 'More Spores for Hoppip' is a limited-time event with exclusive items and Pokémon to find.

The creatures in question are Hoppip and evolutions Skiploom and Jumpluff, and along with them, unique items and the Cotton Spores resource used to craft them.

This guide explains when 'More Spores for Hoppip' takes place, how to get Cotton Spores, and Pokémon Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff before the event ends.

'More Spores for Hoppip' dates, times, and how to start

Pokémon Pokopia's 'More Spores for Hoppip' event starts on Monday, March 9th and ends on Wednesday, 25th March at the following times:

To take part in 'More Spores for Hoppip', you'll need to have rebuilt a Pokémon Center, and have found Drifloon, who can take you to a Dream Island to collect the event's resources.

How 'More Spores for Hoppip' works

During the event, visit a Pokémon Center to find that it's been given a flower makeover. Speak to the Hoppip outside - adding the first of the three event-specific Pokémon to your Pokédex - to learn it needs Cotton Spores.

Visit Drifloon, and present a Doll (any will do) to visit a Dream Island. Cotton Spores will spawn in Dream Islands throughout the event. You can only visit only one unique Dream Island per day, but in my experience, a single visit will have enough Cotton Spores you need to unlock the three new habitats. (You might need to go again if you want multiple of each item type for decorating your town.)

How to get Skiploom and Jumpluff

Beyond the above items, the draw of the event is new Pokémon. While you'll unlock Hoppip from the jump, Skiploom and Jumpluff require specific habitats. These are:

The easiest way to get Skiploom and Jumpluff is to make the Field-trip Friends and Dandelion Lunchtime habitats. These will only spawn these specific Pokémon, and for me, appeared at each within a day of establishing.

While you're here - if you want to show your support during One More Catch's early days, and get extra posts and various site features for doing so, the 10% off forever launch promotion is still going and ends Monday 9th March. It takes the base tier down from an already affordable £4 monthly / £40 annual subscription down to just £3.60 and £36 respectively, and having your backing would mean a great deal as plans for the publication begin in earnest:
