'Time to Aniimo!' is a web event running until Aniimo's September release date on consoles and mobile devices.
By hatching and collecting five unique Aniimo before the game launches, you can earn one or two limited edition Profile Card Backgrounds.

How to start the 'Time to Aniimo!' web event
First, in order to claim the Profile Card Background reward at launch, you need to pre-register with the email address to intend to play the game with.
Once done, press the 'Time to Aniimo!' icon on the official website's homepage (it's on the right side of the screen on desktop devices), then log in with that pre-registered account.
From here, every day, you can hatch three Aniimo eggs in a bid to claim all five of the unique Aniimo required to get a Profile Card Background.
The Aniimo available are Susuta, Celestis, Fentuft, Nimbi and Emberpup, each with regular and Sparkling forms.
How to get the 'Meet in Idyll' and 'Sparkling Idyll' Profile Card Backgrounds
There are two backgrounds up for grabs, acquired by getting a complete collection of the following:
- 'Meet In Idyll' background: Basic form Susuta, Celestis, Fentuft, Nimbi and Emberpup
- 'Sparkling Idyll' background: Sparkling form Susuta, Celestis, Fentuft, Nimbi and Emberpup
Basic Aniimo in the event has a 14% hatch rate, while Sparkling forms have a 6% hatch rate.
When the game releases, the Profile Card Background of the highest rarity will be automatically added to your profile after choosing a server and creating a character.
Where to exchange Aniimo for the 'Time to Aniimo!' web event
Chances are you'll get a duplicate or two as you hatch each day, with your spares being traded with others so you can fill your collection.
To do this, on the My Collection screen, tap the 'Exchange Aniimo' button at the bottom. Next, you can request an Aniimo you want, and one you are willing to offer up; only those which you have duplicates of can be traded.
When ready, tap 'Start Exchange', and you'll then be given a URL that can be shared with other players.

What else do you need to know about the 'Time to Aniimo!' event?
Other details worth knowing include:
- The Aniimo you hatch do not transfer to the main game - they are simply for the purposes of the event.
- The daily reset time for Egg hatching is UTC+8, which is 4pm UK / 12pm EDT / 9am PDT.
- It appears you can only get one Profile Card Background, with the 'Sparkling Idyll' form overriding the 'Time to Idyll' if you manage it in time.
- You have 180 days after the game's launch to log in and claim the Profile Card Background reward.
