Season M-6 sees several significant additions and changes to Pokémon Champions.
After Season-M5's more modest additions - which was essentially keeping the game in a holding pattern until Worlds passed - Season M-6 has both a new Regulation and a significant Pokémon Champions roster update.
There's also the usual rank reset and new suite of cosmetics and rewards from the Battle Pass to unlock, too. So here's a look of what's new in Season M-6 with our own Pokémon Champions patch notes.
What's new in Pokémon Champions Season M-6 and update 1.2.0?
Here's what to expect from Pokémon Champions this season, which launched on Wednesday, 9th September 2026:
- Season M-6 begins, ending Wednesday 7th October
- Regulation Set M-C debuts, ending Wednesday, 2nd December

- “Selection Support”: This feature allows you to display battle data on the Pokémon selection screen to assist in choosing Pokémon to send into battle.
- “View Log”: This feature displays a history of all actions taken during the course of the current battle.
- The following Pokémon can no longer use the moves listed here.

- Not mentioned in the patch notes, but it appears the Switch 2 dock resolution issue has been fixed:
Also it appears that they fixed the resolution issues on the Nintendo Switch & Switch 2 so you don't have to undock & redock or press the Chat button for it to be optimal resolution Glad they finally have this fixed

Elsewhere, there's the usual Pokémon Champions season changes including:
- Player rank resets
- Champion Tier and Master Ball Tier ranks 1-3 will open in one week's time on Wednesday, 16th September
- A results screen the first time you attempt a ranked battle, detailing your final Season M-5 placement and headline team
- VP rewards based on your final placement in the M-5 season
- Final Season M-5 Ranking data in the 'Battle Data' area of the Battle menu
