Weekly Challenges in Pokémon Go allow you to team up with up to three other players to complete tasks and earn rewards.

Rolling out every Tuesday, you can squad up with either friends or random players through matchmaking. It's a great way to amass Friendship points, earn easy XP and Stardust, and get reliable Tandemaus encounters to help you find Maushold's elusive Family of Three form.

This guide explains the Weekly Challenge in Pokémon Go this week, the rewards available, as well as an explainer on how to join a Weekly Challenge.

Weekly Challenge this week

The latest and upcoming Weekly Challenges are as follows:

🗓️
This is based on a repeating schedule of Weekly Challenges that has been more or less set since the feature's debut, meaning you can reliably know what's coming next.

Weekly Challenge rewards

The Weekly Challenge rewards are set each week. They are as follows:

* If you are at the Link Charge limit, you won't receive any from the rewards.

** Tandemaus can be shiny.

When is the Weekly Challenge reset time?

Unlike most Pokémon Go features, the Weekly Challenge has a global reset time, and not a local one.

All players will see the Weekly Challenge reset at midnight UTC on Tuesday, which is the following time in these regions:

This means for those in the Americas, the reset time is in fact on Monday night - whereas Europeans can get involved when they wake up on a Tuesday.

Where to find and join a Weekly Challenge in Pokémon Go

To join a Weekly Challenge in Pokémon Go, do the following:

  1. Access your Trainer screen by tapping the Trainer icon in the bottom left corner of the map
  2. Swipe over to the Social tab (far right), where the Weekly Challenge section is at the top
  3. Select 'Choose Group'
  4. Choose between 'Find me a group!' (matchmaking), 'Invite Friends!' (choose from your Friend list), or join a group which has already sent an invite to you
  5. Confirm your group choice by tapping 'Let's Go!'

That's it! You'll then receive the Weekly Challenge rewards as soon as it's complete.
