These proposed Pokémon TCG Lego sets are incredible - but only one will become a reality

The Pokémon Company and Lego held a contest back in March for fans to submit ideas for builds based on the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

The finalists have now been announced - with designs based on Arceus, Mew, Gyarados, Rowlet and Joltik making it through, all set either within a trading card backdrop, or dramatically bursting out of one - and the results are something else:

Fans can currently vote for their favourite, with the winner becoming an official set. The winner sees 1% of the net sales, 10 complimentary copies, and credit for the design.

Voting isn't open for long - it ends 11th June, 2026 - so head to the official Lego Ideas site and decide which one you'd like to see. Personally? It has to be Mew. Or Gyarados. Maybe Joltik? They're all really good - and it's a shame only one will actually make it to shops.
