Season M-4 is the next major update to competitive battler Pokémon Champions.
Due in early July, as with previous seasons it'll usher in a new Regulation Set and a new Battle Pass. And with previous seasons, since each one is quite short, it's not that far away.
This guide explains the Pokémon Champions Season M-4 release date, and what we can expect.

What can we expect from Pokémon Champions Season M-4?
A lot about Season M-4 is up in the air, but there are some definitives and some hints of what we could expect. Let's go through them one-by-one.
- Ranked Battles will stick to Regulation Set M-B, which was introduced with the arrival of Season M-3
- There's the possibility that new Pokémon "may be added". This wording is from an official infographic explaining how seasons work, and while the box points to the start of Regulation Set M-B - which saw the addition of Mega Raichu - it's possible this might apply throughout the Regulation Set, including sometime in Season M-4:

- A new Battle Pass and associated rewards, which will likely include Pokémon and their Mega Stones, new Style items, Quick Coupons, Training Tickets, Teammate Tickets and VP
- A reset to player ranks, with the Champion Tier and Master Ball Tier release coming a week later
- VP rewards based on your final placement in the previous season
- Previous Season Ranking data available in the 'Battle Data' area of the Battle menu
As well as the above, an interview with producer Masaaki Hoshino with Gamerbraves hints at new features coming to the game in the near future - including the possibility of unevolved Pokémon, new arenas and custom tournaments.
Whether these will arrive with Season M-4 is unknown - but they're reportedly on the roadmap to arrive at some point.
