What we know - and don't know - about Pokémon Champions mobile at launch
There's a few things we do and don't know about the Pokémon Champions mobile version.
Let's go through what we know first:
- Pokémon Champions mobile will be feature complete with the Nintendo Switch version, with the same roster, Pokémon Home link support, and Mystery Gift support
- Pokémon Champions mobile will have cross-play and cross-progression support with the Nintendo Switch editions (by logging into a Nintendo account)
- Pokémon Champions mobile will arrive alongside Season 3, which introduces Mega Raichu X and Y to the game (available for all players for free if they log in before 2nd September, 2026)

- A 2.2 GB install size (at least on iOS devices)
- The app logo, which is different to that on Nintendo Switch devices:

As for what we don't know about the mobile release:
- Whether touch controls means a different user interface, though a Google Play screenshot suggests the in-battle button layouts will be the same:

- Exact supported resolutions (though the above screenshot does suggest a variety of aspect ratios)
- Whether paid membership will be higher in price on mobile stores, which it is in the case of Pokémon Home
