- Increased chance of finding 2km Eggs
- Featuring Smoochum, Magby, and a low chance of hatching Larvesta

Is there 'Fire and Ice Hatch Day' Field Research or Premium Timed Research?
No. Unlike previous recent Hatch Day events which offered a £1.99 / $1.99 ticket with additional Timed Research, there is just a single quest for 'Fire and Ice Hatch Day', and it's available free for all players.
The only premium element that comes into play is a Deluxe version of the 'Summer Marathon' Go Pass, which boosts the 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance bonus to 1/4, which in turn would make hatching 2km Eggs during the 'Fire and Ice Hatch Day' even quicker.
There is also no 'Fire and Ice Hatch Day' Field Research, meaning the short, free Timed Research is all the extra structure you're getting.
Remember, this week is also the 'Summer Marathon: Arctic Embers' event, which includes finding a shiny Snom and completing the 'Summer Marathon' Timed Research.
