Pikachu will see two new costumes as part of the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP events.
Pikachu wearing a Cosmog-themed spacesuit will debut on Tuesday, 25th August, while 2026 Pokémon World Championships Pikachu will make an appearance on Friday, 28th August (the first day of the Championships itself).
Both have similar methods throughout the week, giving you a handful of chances in sourcing one - and helpful if you want to try and get a shiny.
This guide explains how to get Pikachu wearing a Cosmog-themed spacesuit and 2026 Pokémon World Championships Pikachu in Pokémon Go this week.

Can these new Pikachu be shiny?
Yes. As with all Pikachu, both the Cosmog-themed spacesuit and 2026 Pokémon World Championships costumes can be shiny.
With their limited availability, your best bet is to turn to one-star raids as the only repeatable source throughout the week.
