Pokémon Go's 'Trickster's Trail' Special Research is available for the Zorua Community Day in October 2026.
Accessible by purchasing the £1.99 / $1.99 'Zorua Community Day Ticket', it features encounters with Zorua with a Special Background, and a variety of items - including a Premium Battle Pass, a Lucky Egg, Rocket Radar, Charged TM, and a XL Rare Candy. It also includes encounters with evolution Zoroark.

The following research is collected after purchasing the Community Day ticket and logging into the game during the event hours of 2pm and 5pm. From there, there is no time limit to completing the following:
'Trickster's Trail' Special Research quest (step 1/3)
- Catch 3 Pokémon (reward: Zorua encounter)
- Catch 5 Pokémon (reward: Zorua encounter)
- Catch 10 Pokémon (reward: Zorua encounter)
- Make 7 Nice Throws (reward: 20 Ultra Ball)
- Make 5 Great Throws (reward: 1 Lucky Egg)
- Make 5 Curveball Throws (reward: 1 Incense)
End reward: Zorua with Special Background encounter, 50 Zorua Candy, 5 Zorua XL Rare Candy
'Trickster's Trail' Special Research quest (step 2/3)
- Catch 3 Pokémon (reward: Zorua encounter)
- Catch 5 Pokémon (reward: Zorua encounter)
- Catch 10 Pokémon (reward: Zoroark encounter)
- Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon (reward: 20 Ultra Ball)
- Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokémon (reward: 1 Charged TM)
