Pokémon Go's 'Just One Bite' Special Research is available for the Gible Community Day Classic in September 2026.
Accessible by purchasing the £1.99 / $1.99 'Gible Community Day Classic Ticket', it features encounters with Gible with a Special Background, and a variety of items - including a Premium Battle Pass, a Lucky Egg, Rocket Radar, Charged TM, and a XL Rare Candy. It also includes an encounter with evolutions Gabite and Garchomp.
Meanwhile, free for all players is a Gible Collection Challenge - the first in six months, if we're discounting those which have appeared at in-person events.

Pokémon Go Gible Collection Challenge Pokémon and rewards
You have until 5pm local time on Saturday, 12th September to complete the Gible Collection Challenge. Here's what's required:
- Gible (by catching)
- Gabite (by evolving from Gible only)
- Garchomp (by evolving from Gabite only)
Reward: 2,500 XP, 2,500 Stardust, 300 Garchomp Mega Energy
Completing the above also adds one extra to your Elite Collector medal tally.
Gible Community Day ticket 'Just One Bite' Special Research steps
The following research is collected after purchasing the Community Day ticket and logging into the game during the event hours of 2pm and 5pm. From there, there is no time limit to completing the following:
'Just One Bite' Special Research quest (step 1/3)
- Catch 3 Pokémon (reward: Gible encounter)
- Catch 5 Pokémon (reward: Gible encounter)
- Catch 10 Pokémon (reward: Gible encounter)
- Make 7 Nice Throws (reward: 20x Ultra Ball)
- Make 5 Great Throws (reward: 1x Lucky Egg)
- Make 5 Curveball Throws (reward: 1x Incense)
End reward: Gible encounter, 50 Gible Candy, 5 Gible XL Rare Candy
'Just One Bite' Special Research quest (step 2/3)
- Catch 3 Pokémon (reward: Gible encounter)
- Catch 5 Pokémon (reward: Gible encounter)
- Catch 10 Pokémon (reward: Gabite encounter)
- Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon (reward: 20x Ultra Ball)
- Use 5 Berries to help catch Pokémon (reward: 1x Charged TM)
- Use 7 Berries to help catch Pokémon (reward: 3x Silver Pinap Berry)
