Aniimo has its own Xûr - and European players are going wild for today's items

Creature collecting game Aniimo has plenty of live service trappings, and one such feature is a shopkeeper named the Mysterious Vendor, who offers a selection of items to choose from.

For those familiar with Destiny, they are essentially Xûr - and their wares are subject to almost as much anticipation, if the Aniimo reddit is anything to go by.

There are, however, a few differences, primarily in that the Mysterious Vendor returns features every day in the main hub of Astra (Xûr rocks up once a week) and that the Aniimo's three servers all have different items on sale.

For those in Europe, today (27th October) is particularly bountiful, with two standout items: a Sparkling Cube - a coveted type of Aniipod that guarantees a catch and makes them Sparkling; a Master Ball that can make a creature shiny, essentially - and Vein Essence, a sought-after currency which allows you to Nurture Blooms to help attract rare Prismana Aniimo.

Not every lineup is as good as this, and it's become a running joke on the Aniimo reddit that some regions have it better than others; Americas players feel particularly hard done by, with the Asia-Pacific region seemingly getting the best loot of the lot.
