The Pokémon Go Halloween Part 1 event introduces three new costumed Pokémon.
The additions - Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet, Zubat with a top hat and Sinistea with a bow - can all be sourced in Field Research tasks, which are collected by spinning PokéStops during event hours.
This guide explains all Halloween Part 1 event Field Research tasks in Pokémon Go and the rewards available.
Pokémon Go Halloween Part 1 event Field Research tasks
The following are available from 10am on Tuesday, 27th October, and will likely be replaced on Sunday's Part 2 at the same time. All the following can be shiny:
- Win 3 Raids
- Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet
- Win a Raid
- Sinistea with a bow encounter or Zubat with a top hat encounter
- Catch 13 Ghost-type Pokémon
- Noibat wearing a headband, Piplup wearing a Halloween Mischief costume, or Zubat with a top hat
- Make 6 Nice Throws
- Duskull, Pumpkaboo (all four sizes), or Misdreavus
Thanks to Grass Cat on the PokeMiners Discord for helping flesh out the above.
In summary, through Field Research alone, there is a way to encounter all three of the new costumed Pokémon - though it requires winning Raids as a result.
Additionally, other Field Research offers Halloween costumes from previous years, including Noibat and Piplup.
