Regulation Set M-B governs the rules for Pokémon Champions Ranked Play.

As well as what Pokémon which are eligible, it also outlines the mechanics and held items allowed, and the timers for match lengths and decision making.

Regulation M-B eligible Pokémon

The list of eligible Pokémon matches that of the current Pokémon Champions roster. In other words, there are no banned Pokémon, so if a Pokémon is in the game, it can be used - Mega Evolution and all.

Regulation M-B mechanics

Mega Evolutions are allowed during Regulation M-B, with only one Mega Evolution per battle.

As mentioned in the above roster page, there are new Mega Evolutions as of Season M-3, all of which are eligible.

The only stipulation is that no duplicate held items are allowed.

Regulation M-B in Pokémon Champions runs between Wednesday, 17th June to Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026, starting and ending at 2:00 UTC.

This means it not only includes Season M-3, but the upcoming Season M-4 release as well.
