'Choose Your Path: Twilight Trails' - also known as September 2026's 'Choose Your Own Daily Path' - is a branching quest in Pokémon Go.
Starting at 10am on Wednesday, 23rd September and ending on Monday, 28th September at 8pm, it is a Explore, Catch, Battle questline that can appear during a non-event week.
As previously, some players get a new choice every day, while others have one for the whole week. However, though the tasks differ, the bonuses (broadly) remain the same between the two sets.

'Choose Your Path: Twilight Trails' bonus differences in Pokémon Go
Between 10am on Wednesday, 23rd September and ending on Monday, 28th September at 8pm, you'll get either a daily or week-long choice to make.
If you get the daily choice, then you have four options to choose from:
- Explore (PokéStops): 5x XP for spinning PokéStops
- Catch (Stardust): 2x Catch Stardust
- Catch (Candy): 2x Catch Candy
- Battle (Team Go Rocket): Extra Mysterious Components from Grunts
If you get the week-long choice, then the three options are as follows:
- Explore (PokéStops): 5x XP for spinning PokéStops
- Catch (Candy): 2x Catch Candy
- Battle (Team Go Rocket): Extra Mysterious Components from Grunts
Know that these choices are different to Venom and Vines, Fossil Fun, Charged Embers and Fairy Trail from earlier in the year.

What is the best 'Choose Your Path: Twilight Trails' choice for you?
With the rewards being broadly the same for whatever you pick, then it's all about the bonus.
If you get to choose a daily bonus, focus on what you want to do that day, while also factoring in any events in mind. Personally, as someone with plenty of Stardust, Catch (Candy)'s 2x Catch Candy jumps out to me, especially during Saturday's Catch Mastery event - though if I'm exploring a new location, Explore (PokéStops)'s 5x XP for spinning PokéStops is a big draw.
For those with the week-long choice, then play it safe and go for the best overall bonus. Again, Catch (Candy)'s 2x Catch Candy feels right here, as it applies across every Pokémon you will catch until the event ends, including raids and rarer encounters from the monthly Go Pass that you might not have redeemed yet.
