Welcome to the latest One More Catch weekly newsletter, offering you a guide to the days ahead in Pokémon Go.
With the 'World Space Week 2026' event already in full swing, it's mainly regular updates to keep us busy - with a new Dynamax debut, October's Go Pass and the Shadow Legendary rotation all dropping between Monday and Wednesday. The headline event, then, is Tricky Fox Pokémon Zorua's own Community Day, which should be unlike any other we've seen before.
So here's a snapshot of everything coming to Pokémon Go in the days ahead, the biggest opportunities available, and a roundup of Pokémon news and site updates you may have missed.
Pokémon Go this week (5th to 11th October)
All times are at your local time, unless otherwise stated.
If you want to see what's coming for the rest of the month, see this Pokémon Go events schedule guide.
What to know about this week
Here's what jumps out to me in the days ahead:
'World Space Week' will keep you busy...
It's not mentioned in the standard Monday to Sunday format above because it debuted on Sunday, 4th October, but the focus of the week is 'World Space Week', which lasts until midnight at the end of Saturday (overlapping with 'Zorua Community Day').

By the time you read this, all players would have received 'World Space Week 2026' Timed Research with an Astronaut Pikachu encounter, but as with recent adidas and National Trust offerings, there is more if you visit science-themed locations across the UK and Europe in person, which will last until April 2027.

...but there are some mid-week updates
But even without the usual Tuesday event, since it's the first full week of the month, there are regular updates to pay attention to.
First is the release of Go Pass: October on Tuesday, offering a Kyogre encounter (free track) and a Lucky Trinket (Deluxe track). Wednesday, meanwhile, sees Shadow Incarnate Forme Landorus appear in five-star raids until 3rd November.
