Pokémon Go Fest Global 2026 spawns have been the subject of much discussion with how vague developer Niantic / Scopely Explore has been in the lead up to the event.
Instead of listing specific Pokémon that appear in certain biomes at allotted times as per previous events, in Go Fest Global 2026, all we know is they are being rotated in and out by Type.
This means it's hard to chase specific Pokémon - and most importantly, their shinies - but if you're interested in building up your collection of certain Types and / or want to complete their Platinum Catch medal, it's worth paying attention to the spawn schedule.
(If you're interested in Go Fest Global 2026 raids, we have a page for that too.)
Go Fest Global 2026 spawns schedule
Go Fest Global 2026 runs between 10am and 7pm on Saturday, 11th July and Sunday, 12th July.
As with all Pokémon Go global events, each day will cycle through various habitats with a changing spawn schedule. All times below are in your local time.
Saturday, 11th July spawns
Saturday, 12th July spawns
As well as the above, it's expected that Pikachu wearing a Team Instinct Hat, Team Mystic Hat, Team Valor hat - as well as Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle wearing Pikachu visors - will spawn across all hours, alongside Incense attracting All forms of Unown, Tropius and Bouffalant.
How will spawns work in Go Fest Global 2026?
Beyond just announcing spawns by Type, an element of confusion is how spawns will work. No specific Pokémon have been revealed, and the official comms saying the following:
During each hour of the event, Trainers will have a higher chance of encountering Pokémon of a specific type. Over the course of the event weekend, Trainers will have the opportunity to encounter Pokémon of all 18 types.
It's widely assumed it'll work similar to the 'Pokémon 30th Anniversary' event back in March, which saw pretty much anything apart from Mythicals, Ultra Beasts and anything not usually found in the wild (such as feature-specific creatures, those only found in Eggs, etc) appear, albeit this time it'll work by Type. Either way, whether it'll also include Legendaries in the wild remains to be seen (though since they will all be appearing in a dedicated raid schedule, maybe not).

If things get more specific when the event hours begin, we'll update this page accordingly.
