Pokémon Go is offering free Link Charge Meetup Challenge codes this 'Go Fest: Global 2026' weekend.

Similar to social media promotions for previous Global events - such Go Tour's Unown codes in February, or the Incarnate Forme encounters and Crowned Sword and Shield Energy research last year - these codes were issued after the community worked together to achieve a goal.

Update (12th July): Updated the guide with the second code.

Once players achieved 750,000 RSVPs and check-ins for a Go Fest: Global meet-up - between 7th July and 11th July, and then 11th July to 12th July respectively - the codes for Link Charges were released; perfect for taking on Mega Mewtwo over the weekend.

The Link Charge Meetup Challenge Go Fest codes are as follows:

Click or tap the links above to be taken to the official redemption site with the code automatically filled out.

Know that you do not have to done an RSVP or a check-in to get these codes - that requirement was simply to unlock the code for everyone.

Each code contains 100 Link Charges and 15 Poké Balls.

Those hoping for some easy Mega Mewtwo Energy (as per last year's Crowned Sword and Shield Energy giveaway) will be disappointed. However, the two Link Charge codes combined will result in 200 Link Charges, enough for one Mega Mewtwo encounter of your choosing over the weekend.
