Pokémon Go's 10th Anniversary takes place in early July, and it'll be celebrated with three events over 10 days.
Leading up to the anniversary date itself on Monday, 6th July is the weekend '10th Anniversary Party' event, before rolling into a busy Go Fest: Global build-up with the 'Road of Legends' event with, yes, the return of a Gold Bottle Cap, followed by the big weekend itself on 11th and 12th July with the debut of Mega Mewtwo and much more.
This page explains all Pokémon Go 10th Anniversary events in early July, and a surprise of sorts teased by Niantic in the week that follows.

...and a Pik-at "playful surprises" and more (Monday, 13th July to Saturday, 18th July)
Beyond the three main events above, the Road of Legends announcement also teases Pikachu will have "a few playful surprises" starting on Monday, 13th July (the day after Go Fest: Global wraps) at 10am local time, the specifics of which will be announced soon. Any ideas?

Additionally, to round off the week is Raichu Super Mega Raid day on Saturday, 18th July featuring the debut of Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y in Super Mega Raids.

And beyond that? There's no sign of a Go Fest: Max Finale event as per 2025, but it wouldn't surprise us if another turns up in August, which could reasonably tied to the 10th anniversary celebrations. We'll have to wait and see.
